The BBC has published a list of the 100 most influential and influential women of the year 2020 from around the world.
This year's list of 100 women includes names who have been inspiring as well as inspiring for change despite difficult circumstances.
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who speaks out against sexual violence and whitening creams, and Dr Sania Nishtar, head of Pakistan's Poverty Alleviation Program, are also on the list.
The list includes Sanaa Maran, who heads the women's coalition government in Finland, Sarah Al-Amiri, the UAE's Minister of Advanced Technologies, and Sarah Gilbert, chairperson of the UAE Space Agency Including the names of influential women.
Also among the 100 most influential women is author Feng Feng, who documented what happened in Wuhan during the lockdown, and South African singer Zahara, who spoke out against violence against women.
